Mark Liponis, M.D.
Corporate Medical Director

Dr. Liponis is Corporate Medical Director of Canyon Ranch and oversees medical operations at all Canyon Ranch facilities. He is the co-author of the bestselling book, Ultra Prevention, and is one of the country's leading experts in preventive and holistic health. A vocal proponent of lifestyle modification as first-line therapy, Dr. Liponis believes in supporting and enhancing the natural healing powers of the human body. He believes that drugs and surgery are often overused in conventional medicine, and should be used more judiciously. Dr. Liponis has developed programs in optimal health, Ultraprevention, preventing and reversing cardiovascular disease, Alzheimer's prevention, and weight management.

He received his doctorate in medicine from the University of Massachusetts Medical School and completed his specialty training in Internal Medicine at Berkshire Medical Center. Dr. Liponis was awarded his bachelor's degree, with honors, from Dartmouth College. He is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in internal medicine and previously in critical care medicine. Dr. Liponis was awarded the Books for a Better Life Award in 2003 for his book, Ultra Prevention.

Cynthia Johnson Geyer, M.D.
Medical Director

Dr. Geyer, medical director in Lenox, has been with Canyon Ranch since 1998. She has special interests in the areas of prevention, wellness and women's health issues.

She received her bachelor of science and her doctor of medicine degrees, with honors, from Ohio State University. She completed her internship and residency in medicine at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, New York Dr. Geyer is a Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine.

To complement her work at Canyon Ranch, Dr. Geyer is also a member of the Adjunct Staff at the prestigious Cleveland Clinic.

Evelyn Resh
Director of Sexual Health Services, Certified Nurse Practitioner and Midwife

Evelyn Resh utilizes a fresh, lively approach to sexuality and spiritual aspects of sexual fulfillment at any age. Her warm, good-humored and open approach to sex and sensuality makes others feel at ease with often hard-to-discuss subjects. For the past 21 years, Evelyn has helped women and men to gain a better understanding of their physical and emotional health and the effects of their sensual and sexual health and relationship satisfaction.

Her special interests include sexuality, sexual fulfillment, pregnancy and childbirth, menopause, raising sexually healthy children, and helping women and men maintain lifelong interest in sexual intimacy.

Nina Molin, M.D.

Staff physician Nina Molin received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and her doctorate in medicine from the University of New York at Stony Brook. She completed her internship and residency in internal medicine from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry. Continuing studies in ayurvedic medicine and functional medicine.

Dr. Molin combines the best of current Western medical practice with the ancient wisdom of East Indian ayurvedic and herbal medicine. Dr. Molin, who is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, served as an assistant professor of medicine for the University of Massachusetts School of Medicine and continues to teach medical residents. She is also a member of the organizing committee for the Woman's Health Care Conferences for Woman Health Care Providers.

Kevin Murray, N.D.

Dr. Murray is a licensed Acupuncturist who received a master's degree in Oriental medicine and acupuncture from the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine. He then went on to earn a Ph.D. in naturopathic medicine from the National College of Naturopathic Medicine in Oregon. His areas of special interest include treating chronic conditions and musculoskeletal conditions with homeopathy, acupuncture, nutrition and herbal medicine.

Tereza Hubkova, M.D.
Integrative Specialist

Dr. Tereza Hubkova received her Doctorate of Medicine from Charles University in the Czech Republic, where she focused her studies on preventive medicine, and graduated as valedictorian. She completed her internal medicine residency at Metro West Medical Center in Framingham, Massachusetts. She has ten years of experience working as a primary care physician and a hospitalist.

Dr. Hubkova has studied various alternative healing approaches for more than a decade and is certified in clinical hypnosis, Reiki, sound healing, level 1 shamanic training, and levels 1 and 2 in acutonics. Dr. Hubkova encourages guests to look into and understand the biochemical, energetic, emotional, mental and spiritual factors that affect their health. She teaches guests how to awaken their own inner healer, and helps bring them into a state of harmony.
